Take a deep breath and go watch Star Trek on Blu-Ray.

Four out of thirteen? Let me try and guess. I'm gonna with Final Fantasy 1, 4, 7 and 10. Am I close?

Oh and based on your counting, I assume that you don't consider Final Fantasy X-2 to be a game.

You are exactly right. And it's not that I don't consider X-2 to be a game, it's just that I'm only counting "real" Final Fantasy games. In other words, the games that are the main part of the series. So I don't count Revenant Wings or Dirge of Cerberus or any other spin-offs, sequels, or other such games. Just the Final Fantasy [NUMBER] games.

I can never get this right: is FF4 FFVI?

I know the Numbers were changed when coming to America...

FF4 was released as 2 in North America. It follows Cecil, Rosa, Cain, etc.

FF6 was released as 3 in North America. It follows Terra, Locke, Edgar, etc.

Every other one was released as it's proper number.

Meh, I'm playing through it and I don't mind it.

Granted, I've already discounted it as an actual Final Fantasy game, so that helps.

My main problems with it? Linear until Chapter 11. You can't change your party members until Chapter 10, even when you have more than 3 people in your party. I haven't swapped off the first weapons I was given yet, as I just upgrade them.

The roles are stupid, and why the hell does the game end if the Leader dies, if one of the others is a medic with the reviving skills?
