M, this is just beautiful. It is my favorite piece by you now for sure. It flows wonderfully in many places. I love that you included Igraine. The back and forth from Gwen to the 'future' Guinevere she is viewing, that's a hard balance, and you actually did very well with it. You bring the reader totally into the story by your voice and I love how you write the ghostly scenes. You have a total knack for that dreamlike quality

I'm so glad that you thought that I respected Lancelot and Gwen. After all I do think they would be great friends, but I think that Gwen's heart fully belongs to Arthur. Im happy that you liked Igraine too! I just based her on the little scene we got of her in 2x08 with Arthur.

Lol, Millie, I thought this was multi-chap, otherwise I would have read sooner! Lovely fic, anyway! Your characterisation was well done. I loved Igraine in this and the dynamic between her and Gwen. I loved the look into Lancelot and Gwen's marriage and thought you developed that part really well, considering your bias towards Arthur and Gwen, and your doubts about being able to portray L/G impartially. One wouldn't have been able to tell that you had trouble writing those two.

The A/G came off lovely too. I loved the future glimpse into their marriage and the fact they understand and complete one another. Loved their daughter too!

I've never seen It's a Wonderful Life! before, but this made me want to. A lovely fic, dear, and one you should be proud of. <3333

I'm soooo glad that you liked the characterization and loved Igraine. I wanted everyone to love her because I just think she would have been lovely! Pity she had to die so that Arthur could live.

I'm so very glad that you thought the G/L worked well and that I developed it well. I love A/G with all my heart, I have come to like Lancelot and I can see why they both would have feelings but I just believe that Arthur and Gwen belong together.

This is so great! I loved the moments between A/G. The snide comments about Gwen made by the other nobles made me mad, but it's what she should expect, isn't it?

Wonderful fic. It totally has that "It's a Wonderful Life" vibe. Although I enjoyed this 1000x more. I think I'm the only person who doesn't particularly like IAWL. :)

AS to the comments the nobles made, sure Gwen would expect that but I think it would still hurt her. It would be the same for anyone I think, especially as they don't understand why Arthur wants to marry Gwen.
