I'm really tempted to get an iPaq/tomtom satnav system. It will cost me about 500 notes but it's super-toy-tastic and will probably stop any navigation related fights from happening on holiday

The standard release of TomTom doesn't have UK postcode support, but it is rather spiffing (I've been testing it for work which is bloody hard when you don't have a car)

Although I can send you the dbase file as we've written one for use with our XDA2s if you want :)

I guess if you get alot of use out it then its worth it... probably be very useful for america trip too.

That is if I can get maps of the USA for it. Could just hire a car with satnav built in :)
