I'm really tempted to get an iPaq/tomtom satnav system. It will cost me about 500 notes but it's super-toy-tastic and will probably stop any navigation related fights from happening on holiday ( Read more... )

The standard release of TomTom doesn't have UK postcode support, but it is rather spiffing (I've been testing it for work which is bloody hard when you don't have a car)

Although I can send you the dbase file as we've written one for use with our XDA2s if you want :)

I guess if you get alot of use out it then its worth it... probably be very useful for america trip too.

That is if I can get maps of the USA for it. Could just hire a car with satnav built in :)
