“No.”
“Please?”

“Because it is like you’re petting me or something.”

Luan smirked. He reached over and patted his brother on the head. Theo gave him a dirty look as he shrugged to get his hand off his head.
“Lu! Stop it!”
“See, bro? No big deal.”
“It is a big deal to me.”
“Lily let me pet her animal spirit.”
“Oh, really?”
“It felt weird. It felt warm then cold…then I had goose bumps on my arms. Really weird, bro.”
“Interesting.”
“Soooo, can I pet it?”
“No.”

“No and stop giving me that look.”

“Does it have a name?”
“What does?”
“Your animal spirit, bro.”

“Because I found it to be unnecessary.”
“Casey and Lily have named theirs.”
“Lily names everything. Case in point, that plant over there is called Rose. That one over there is called Cynthia. Don’t get me started on what she calls the cash register.”
“And Casey?”
“Lily rubbed off on people that way.”

He sighed.
“Please?”

He frowned as he tried another tactic.
“How does it feel…when you know…fight in it?”
Bro thought for a moment.
“I really don’t know how to describe. It is almost…it’s like an extending myself and at the same time, I never felt so protected. I’m like in a cocoon but at the same time... I am detracted from my body. Then there is whole another aspect of when I connected with the others”
He blinked. He didn’t expect that for an answer.

“Thanks, bro. You rock,” He said with a smile. Bro just gave him a dirty look.
“Step away for a second, Lu.”
He let go of his twin and stepped back. He watched as his brother started glowing. He started doing something with his hands. Suddenly, he saw this blue mental cat over his bro’s head. The blue cat jumped from bro’s body to the floor. The cat slowly made it way toward him. For a brief second, he froze. The cat’s red eyes were focused on him. It was nothing like Lily’s cat. It made the hair on the back of his neck stand up. Slowly, he reached out his hand. The cat brushed against his hand.
It felt cold…but warm at the same time. The main difference was it gave him a warm and fuzzy feeling inside.
“Awww…good kitty.”
He grinned as the cat groaned.
“Maybe, I can...AHHHH! Dude, stop that! It is so nasty! BRO! Stop it! It’s cold! AHHHH! BRO!”
Bro laughed as his cat pounced on him and started licking his face. He tried to get thing off of him. Animal spirit cat drool is so nasty. Slowly, the cat got off of him and disappeared in thin air. He could have sworn the cat was giving him a pleased look as it disappeared. He wiped his face as he struggled to get up. His bro folded his arms and grinned at him.
“That was mean.”
“That is what you get for asking to pet my animal spirit.”
