Awesome!

I was out biking in the rain yesterday and thought it was quite lovely.

It's the only time in Boston when the smell of something more natural ever more or less takes over the smell of air pollution. I love it.

There were a lot of "woohoo!"'s on this trip. The best part, though, was the looks we kept getting from people walking on the street and sitting on their porches.

It was funny, we actually saw more cyclists yesterday after the rain started than before. A few of them looked grumpy but most of them seemed pretty "woohoo" themselves.

The cyclists that come out in the rain are the nicer kind, too

Sounds like a lot of fun!

Also reminds me of the time my family biked from Barrington RI, to Colt State Park. Which is only 14 miles round trip so not nearly as impressive except I was 7 at the time and the training wheels had just come off.

I miss Rhode Island.

I remember when I was around 7 my whole family did a little 18 mile bike ride somewhere on Martha's Vineyard. I was pretty impressed. It was the furthest I'd ever gone on a bicycle.
