It's the only time in Boston when the smell of something more natural ever more or less takes over the smell of air pollution. I love it.
There were a lot of "woohoo!"'s on this trip. The best part, though, was the looks we kept getting from people walking on the street and sitting on their porches.
It was funny, we actually saw more cyclists yesterday after the rain started than before. A few of them looked grumpy but most of them seemed pretty "woohoo" themselves.
I suppose it's probably because the people who are out in the rain are the ones that think bicycling is important enough that they won't let the bad weather stop them. The rest are the ones who will only bike when it is at its easiest and most comfortable.
I was out biking in the rain yesterday and thought it was quite lovely.
