Ok, saw that I hadn't posted in awhile but that is really because not much is going on. Jared is now putting some weight onto his ankle, but I am only having him use the crutches at home cause there is no way he would survive a day at school with them right now. Ok, went to the doctor's again today. They took off the full leg cast & put him in a half cast. What does that mean? *G* Instead of the cast going all the way up past his thigh, its just down below his knee. Day one at home has gone pretty good. Went & got his school stuff lined up. Spent about an hour at school. Got a temp. handicapped thingy so that I can park in the handicapped spots when I have him in the car & get him in & out. Oh! HUGE thanks to shannon730 for doing this lovely banner/layout! Yes yes yes....we are home! Ok. Here is what happened. Well...read the post before this & you will know, but he didn't have to have surgery. THANK YOU GOD! Today was our last day at the hospital. Ok....can people be any more idiotic? Here's the thing. Jared is going to middle school this year, so he can get into the school at 7:30. We leave this morning at 7:25 and the school, which is at most 5 minutes away, had a line of traffic waiting to turn into the lot. Took me 15 minutes to drop him off!
