I dunno, I think Ronon was out of line to say, "My real mom woulda let me!", not to mention wrong, and I think Sam should've slapped him down a little harder. Not much, but a little. If I were the script editor she would've.
I'm of two minds on this, really. I think the writers are trying to straddle a very careful line--not making Sam the Bestest Ever, and yet still putting her in charge. But, yeah. I kind of wanted her to tell Ronon to fuck off. But, er, that's me.
And sadly, I had this big meta-y comment to add about all of that, and I wrote another line in a fic instead and now I've forgotten it. damn.

*nods* And while she did get to be in charge of Area 51 for a while, A-51 is a whole different kettle of fish. And she probably KNEW most of the people there.
Also: I want to write the Bones about Doctor Who fandom. A Rose batshipper is killed and everyone thinks the oldskool fanfiction writer did it, but really it's the ex-boyfriend who was jealous of the new boyfriend who got her into the fandom. Or maybe the boyfriend is innocent and the old-skooler did it.
