Since I have about 1,500 pages to read in three weeks, I probably won't be around here much. I could renew my books, but I need goals to take my mind off life for awhile. I have a paper due on female slavery in a few weeks. Ick. I'm also reading The Unabridged Journals of Sylvia Plath, which is totally consuming me right now. After that, I have ( Read more... )

yeah it happens. Ani's new cd however is the first one in a REALLY REALLY long time that I've listened to more than twice and enjoyed...I thought I was over her too haha

Yeah, I used to depend on Tori to deal with my whiney/depressive/heartache stages... but this cd isn't for that. :P But it's grown on me, I just can't cry to it or anything.

Goals are good, and so is getting away from LJ sometimes. Also, Ani is wonderful live -- my only beef with her shows is that they aren't long enough. The two times I saw her, she played for maybe an hour or a little more.

Enjoy your day off. I'm done early today, and you just inspired me to take a nap.

I really loved Neverwhere, so I'm hoping I enjoy this one as well. I'm not usually into this type of fiction, but I like Gaiman's writing style.

"Little Earthquakes" is one of Tori's best cds, in my opinion. It definately served it's purpose when I was 19 and "angsty". ;)

Hope you're doing well today. We'll have to catch up on IM/email soon.

I'm listening to the Tori album right now, and I really like it! But yes, I do miss the angst.
