In the midst of everything, I have finished several books:

First, I read Snow Flower and the Secret Fan and I was really excited about reading it as it was being hailed the next Memoirs of a Geisha (never mind that it is set in China). I keep forgetting to mention that I've recently finished some books. I've read Margaret Atwood's new book, The Penelopiad. That was a very strange Atwood book. I've only read two of hers, but it still seemed not to completely jive with the her previous work. The subject matter seemed fine, it was just how it was written.
