Incidentally, if you have a Fresh & Easy nearby, the chocolate truffle cake we get from them doesn't use any flour or milk, and it's delicious.

Oh, really? Okay, I accept partial blame for reading the post two hours late.

Wait, what?! What kind of cake is this? How does it not use flour?? I don't think that chain is around here for me to investigate. What is it like?

We don't know anything about how it works, just that the ingredients list doesn't have flour or milk. It does have butter, though. The cake is like... cake... but kind of denser... but not like those dense brownies, like it actually tastes good. It, like, combines the physical qualities of cake and bar chocolate somehow. Or something.

Anyway, if you Google "chocolate truffle cake," you can probably find a recipe.
