I'm tiiiiiiiired and my legs hurt because I was standing all day at work. I need to get used to standing up for hours on end again... or work shorter shifts. Which do you think I prefer

The more you talk about these books that Disney based movies off of, the more I'm ashamed for not having read them! We should do something about that...

Mwahaha! You should definitely read Alice, it's wonderful. And I think I mentioned in another post, it's really pretty short (another friend asked me if it was comparable to the LOTR/Hobbit books' length; it is not remotely that long or that complicated a writing style). I've only made time to read a little at night these days, but I think I got through the book in two nights or so. And the writing is so clever and funny and enjoyable :D

AND! You don't even have to get to a library or bookstore! Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (and Through the Looking-glass, etc) is public domain, so you can read it on Project Gutenberg as long as you don't mind reading off a screen. Hurrah for Project Gutenberg!!

Yeah, I always kind of imagined it as being closer to The Chronicles of Narnia in length.

Thanks for the tip! We might get to it some time. We're staring at screens all day, though, even when we're not at the computer, so it might take a while. You may have to remind us.
