I started thinking about OTPs yesterday when I walked home from uni at 10 p.m. [thanks to a frigging movie night thingy for North American Studies. the movies were good-ish, though, thank God]. In my mind I listed parings that have somehow truly affected me as a crazy, little, fangirly person. So, today, instead of concentrating on my Accents of

Interesting list of pairings - no Natalie/Eva? - and I think it's safe to say your attempt to Ash/Scribbs the world has taken off nicely. Personally I'm just waiting to see which pairing you convert me to next.
I really don't see much chemistry between Bette and Jodi but that might just be because I'm not that fond of either character - I find Bette more tolerable when she's not in a relationship - but that could change.

Kind of. After Baz came back from Canada she and Charlie sort of rekindled their relationship [in Lapland of all places. Go Finland!] although Baz was married to someone else. Back in the UK they continued seeing each other, but then there was a car accident and Baz died later on in the hospital. So yeah, you could say they were together in the end.
...why do I know all this?!
no Natalie/Eva?
No, and no Jordan/Lu, Lindsay/Stella or Elle/JJ either. They're definitely parings I very much support, but they haven't really affected me as a fangirl like, for example, Nikki/Helen has. If that makes any sense at all, heh.
Oh, I'm planning my next move right now. Prepare to be converted once again, heh.
I think that what Bette lacks in character, she makes up in looks. *g*

Willow/Kennedy is preferable to Willow/Tara. But then, I think almost any pairing is preferable to Willow/Tara. And in Willow 'ships, I'm afraid I'm a Buffy/Willow gal. (I have many a bad B/W fic to my name, sadly)
Kelly/Sabrina is, obviously, brilliant.
Oh, and the list was a nice reminder that, if not for you, I wouldn't know the joys that are Alex/Olivia and Ash/Scribbs.
Oh, and as for the converting thing...remember when the membership of ashscribbs consisted of just me and you? There are now 47 members!!! How thrilling is that? So yes, you have successfully spawned a fandom.
Thank you.

I did become more of an X/G shipper near the end (when it really was undeniable). And after a certain point I didn't like them suggesting that either of them would be with anyone else...I dunno, I can't really articulate my Xena fandom thoughts well.
(And I have realised that I don't have an X/G icon, all of my icons involve Ares or Callisto)

You don't have the song as mp3? Do you want to have it? ;)

Too bad I haven't watched "enough" SG to notice your point of reference and I never saw anything happen between X and G, but then again, maybe I haven't watched enough Xena either. (damn them for showing it on afternoon TV) ;) As for Willow / Kennedy, well, it's clear I don't understand this stuff, since it felt very copy pasted on top of the seventh season.
I supposed she worked as a substitute as you rarely write fiction of someone who's already dead. *lol* So says a person who is a master of character resurrections... (Prue*cough*)
Praise Blaise. So, what does that "paperback cliché" mean, exactly? ;)

Switching to American here for a bit... DUDE! Damn, seriously?! You obviously need to watch seasons 4-6 [in particular] again. ;)

I agree with you there. The storyline as a whole was rather random and forced, but I loved the chemistry and the juxtaposition between Willow and Kennedy. That worked.

Oh, Janet has been brought back many times! *g*

Paperbacks are books, obviously, with paper covers, not hard ones. Here it probably mainly refers to all those bad romance novels people buy at airports etc. to kill time. So, a paperback cliché would be, for example, a corny plot twist that those "books" have in common.

Xena kicks ass, Gab assists.
Xena is in trouble, Gab assists so that Xena may kick ass once again.
Gab is in trouble, Xena seriously kicks ass, etc.
Hm, Tara sung that she was a paperback cliché. Would that mean that she is a hopeless romantic, eh?
Bought many romance novels from the airport? ;)

Most probably. In the beginning she sings "Here it comes again, another happy end" and I think that's a pretty obvious reference to your typical romance novel. And then, in the chorus, she sings how she's always the romantic who believes the relationship is just like the ones in those books.
Bought many romance novels from the airport?
None, but I've flipped through them while waiting for my plain or train or whatever. :p

A. OMG, yes! Ellen hosting was one of the best things ever, and I had wished it'd happen for such a long time that it made it all even better. And, on top of all, those camera shots of Portia! ♥ Ellen and Portia would have gorgeous babies.
B. When it comes to femslash, Xena/Gabrielle is probably the OTP of all OTPs. I've never been a hardcore fan of the show, but I used to watch it just for those two.
I'm so bummed that I stopped watching ER after Season 8. Several people have mentioned Abby/Neela and I'd love to see what it was all about.
Oh, Dana! *sniff* Her storyline in Season 3 was was one of the saddest ones in television history. And, at the end of the day, I didn't mind whom Dana was with because Dana herself was such an amazing and adorable character. So, I was very much into both Dana/Lara, as well as Dana/Alice. Okay, I there was one exception: Toxic Tanya was horrendous.
Izzie/Addison = my Grey's OTP ( ... )
