It feels surreal and beyond weird, I have to say. After 131 episodes(!), I'm ready to part with my 'hardcore Criminal Minds fan club' membership card and find something else to obsess over. It's been fun. \o/
Anyway. The last episode. Damn. Damndamndamndamndamn! It was epic, it was heartbreaking, it was amazing and even femslashy. The writers did

Awww, stop. Now you're making me cry!
Still, we all know that Emily told her one night when they were wrapped around each other in bed, because Emily knew that she couldn't keep the truth from JJ.
This is precisely the way I see it. Because there's nothing JJ wouldn't know about Emily, because the press liaison is actually the only person Emily has ever truly trusted. Meant to be, ppl, meant to be.
It was so Garcia and said so much about their relationship. Win.
Had it been anyone else, the whole scene would've been corny and just not believable. But Garcia making the call was simply spot. on.
You needed to have *some* reaction from the team that is a stand in for the audience and they picked Morgan
Yes, I definitely agree. I just didn't get it why he needed to go on and on about it. Sure, they were partners, more than any other members of the team, but it just came off as slightly over the top. Then again, the way he finally understood ( ... )

Second: I worte down my thoughts while watching and OMG they're very close to your recap, just without the pretty pretty pictures and not in this nice words :)
For me, too the Criminal Minds era now comes to an end. And I'm feeling kinda sorry for Kirsten Vangsness, but she doesn't do the kevlar stuff. I bet y'all know what I mean.
It was hard enough without JJ, but now with Emily gone, too there's just nothing left for my femslashy shipper heart.
Let's hope CBS will come to their senses and they'll bring JJ and Em back (now that they don't have to pay That Guy any more).
Great episode, I loved it. Thank God for fanfiction where my Criminal Minds heart can live happily ever after!

Kirsten Vangsness is lovely, even if I love Garcia to bits, she just isn't enough to keep me from watching. I'll probably still keep track of the show, to see where things go from now, but I won't be watching the episodes.
If there isn't an abundance of new Emily/JJ fic after this, I'll cry.

But aside from that, I LOVE how JJ looked all superior and grown-up and still so JJ. Also, the past thing? Man, my mind so didn't take that to mean professional past.
So Emily isn't American at all?Isn't that her Lauren file? It would have her fake identity. But "Citizenship: Belgium". Perhaps that's how you write it, but it bugs me because it should be Belgian. :p ( ... )

I know! And the fact that she happened to step through the doors exactly when Hotch finished his sentence was utterly hilarious. The wonders of TV. *g*
Isn't that her Lauren file?
Yeah, but do they have official personnel files about the cover stories as well? Apparently, heh. I expected an Emily Prentiss file which would simply have her Lauren cover listed.
I choose to ignore the ring because it reminds me of Will.
I bet that's the only thing of his she's kept. It's not even a particularly nice-looking ring. That scene was so LOL-worthy, though; I can still hear JJ's faked cheery voice and see Emily's fuck-you-all mood.
I think Hotch knows
Yeah, he probably does. It'd be interesting, though, if he didn't, because his suspicious glances during the funeral would get a whole new meaning.
Though Paris looked really fake. The fakest thing I have ever seen. They tried to get rid of the crappiness by lighting (it' ( ... )
