Think you're quick enough?

What is it with the annoying ship "mash" names all sounding like food items? "Calzona" is probably the worst (totes a pizza), but I also find myself wanting to kick something whenever I see "Rizzles", because that's just dumb. It's like a cracker. Also, "Jemily". I can't help thinking of jam. Just...WHY ( Read more... )

I was doing homework while the latest Criminal Minds was on. HOMEWORK people!! I just looked up every now and then if I heard Emily's voice... you know, to gawk a little bit. But seriously, I can't remember the last time CM has been so bad.

Also, Jemily? Really?

I've never fast-forwarded through an episode before. Sad with a capital 'S'. I have faith it'll get better at times, if they'd just give Emily something cool to do. Blah.

Lol. That is one of the funniest blooper reels I've seen - makes me want to go out and watch the show, and I love it when that happens. I love blooper reels - they always make me think 'Why can't I have a job like that', though.

Thanks for the link :) And the hot cowgirl!Sharon pic-spam. HOT DAMN.

Also, portmanteaus? I dislike them greatly. I've said in a post of mine before that I'd love to know where they came from, because back in the day I don't remember referring to any of my old ships as Salia (Susan/Talia), Gena (X/G), Teven (Torres/Seven) or, good god, Fuffy. FUFFY. Where did this trend come from?

I know, same here! That gag reel almost makes me want to watch How I Met Your Mother, but I've seen a few episodes, so I know it's not really my thing.

Where did this trend come from?

I think the whole "Tomcat" (Tom Cruise & Katie Holmes) and "Brangelina" hype bled into fandom as well. Might be that there were portmanteaus in fandom before that as well, but as far as I know, that's when the number skyrocketed.
