I miss the Olympics. There, I said it. I wasn't enthusiastic about the Games at all in the beginning, but somehow I did nothing but sat in front of the telly like a slob the last few days of the event. I mean, who knew water polo could be so fascinating? Fascinating and painfully slow

Oh my god the Norway team are adorable, I was soooo pleased they won! I too am suffering olympics withdrawal it is funny the things you end up sitting through and enjoying I totally got into the male diving on the second to last day!! I have just started going through HC online after your picspams and then I came across the Pepa & Sylvia storyline in "Los Hombres De Paco", have you seen any of that??? It's fabulous! I started with just the Pepa & Silvia clips but now the whole show is starting to intrigue me, I need to brush up on my spanish though!

Not long till CM starts up again, I hope we can we expect some fangirly blogging and picspams from you again no one squeezes the subtext quite like you! And wow as if it's a month until you come over to the UK are you excited or just plain nervous at this point?

I never really saw diving on TV, but I must've sat through hours of beach volleyball which, prior to the Olympics, I considered to be the most retarded sport ever. Now I'm not so sure anymore...

Oh! Los Hombres de Paco = ♥ Pepa & Silvia are so perfect together. I've been meaning to picspam that show for ages now. The entry's 50% done, but somehow I haven't been able to finish it yet. Maybe I should. I wholeheartedly recommend all the Spanish shows, though; I'm glad you've finally ventured there. *g*

If I'll only manage to download the new CM episodes, picspams & episode dissections are definitely on the way! That show is too perfect to be ignored - even with all the pregnancy nonsense.

As for going to the UK, I'm sort of in denial still about the whole thing, heh. I expect to completely freak out within the next few weeks. Overall, though, I'm incredibly excited about the whole thing!

Well, Denmark's handball league (where both Gro & Katja play) kicks off next week, so I'll probably picspam the hotness every now and then. *g*

As for international games, the European Championship games are in December. A must see tournament!

I'm in withdrawal as well, but nothing could make me miss water polo. My apologies to all the hardcore water polo fans. It just looks so silly. At least I have the US Open for the next two weeks to fill my sports need.

On the bright side, the new Ikast season starts the first week of September. If some kind souls are able to capture and upload the matches, I'll still get to see Katja, Gro, Isa, Aamodt, and Tonje N.

Water polo was so hilarious; "Seriously? Seriously?!" was what I thought most of the time. What that sport does in the Olympics is beyond me, though.

You know, I'm truly happy that Toms Ligan starts next week, but at the same time I'm practically in mourning. Norway NT is almost like an OTP for me: it'll be so difficult to see them play against each other again, instead of working on the same side. Weird, I know.
