Yay, a new Chlean story! I loved it. I can easily see both sides here. Chloe once again feels the hero doesn't trust her, but Dean is afraid if he tells her she'll react like Cassie did. Of course, Chloe wouldn't know about what happened with Cassie, so she thinks the worst. I know this was a one-shot, but I would love to see a follow up to this. Maybe with a happy ending? It could start out angsty... Pretty please?

Thank you! And no promises but maybe on a follow up piece. I agree that a happy ending would be nice, but I'm not sure if my muse is up to it. But I'll defenitely think about it.

Gah! This story is making such a hypocrite out of me -- I just posted a spiel on twop a few days ago about how much I dislike the relationships SV has created that are based on lies, and then you post this, and I saw it was Chlean, and I was all "OMG Chlean!" and I loved it, much to my own hypocritical dismay.

However, in my defense, I think what made it for me was this:

She sits down on the bed, hugging his stolen t-shirt to her chest. She’ll give him one more chance to be honest. One more chance to tell her. Because she can’t go on like this. Doesn’t want to have too.

This was the perfect ending for this story, with Chloe realizing toll the lying is taking on them. Maybe you could write a reveal, when you're feeling just slightly less angsty? It could still be a little angsty.

You're not a hypocrite at all!! It's just a few days ago you didn't like it and now because of this story it change a little your vision of the ship it's totally normal!!!

lol, thank you! I completely agree with you about the secrets in relationships thing, so if your a hyproctite for like this, I'm one for writing it. XD But like you said, the consequences and her feelings about the lying were what this was about. On SV (especially with Clois right now imo) they're not even discussed which is rather bothersome really.

lol, if I do write a sequel I'll try to give it a happy ending. I really do like them (even prefer them actually), they just don't always come out when I'm writing.

It's the first time I read a Chlean fanfic and I really happy I did because I really love it.
And the fact she already knows and he don't how to tell her about his hunter life so he pushed it to another moment it's just amazing because I can't definitely see that happen.

Thank you! And a sequel seems to be the consensus for this one. I guess I did leave it in that type of a place...But I'm not sure yet. I have a few ideas but lets see what happens when I try to put them down on paper. Or well, try to type them into the computer...lol.
