Ugh

On days like today, the only thing that gets me into work is the knowledge that I haven't taken a sick day in my entire professional career. I haven't yet, so why start now?

health, work

Stop being so headstrong! The thing is, if you have something contagious, it's better for everyone else in your office if you'd stay at home so you're not spreading it around!

Anyways, hope you feel better.

I don't think I have anything contagious.

Plus there's the incentive that if I don't work I don't get paid. No sick days in my industry.

I've somehow never been ill with a flu-like illness on a workday.

Didn't you go home early, or stay home a day, last year?

But how are you going to stick it to the man?!
(Me being unemployed is purely coincidental to my attitude here ;-))

So you're saying I should get sick and then go in anyway and not do anything while making everyone else sick?

Yeah, or pretend to be sick and go ride a rollercoaster or have a montage.
My point is you should never go in when you're sick and as seldom as possible when you're well.
