Welcome!! Good to have a new face around :D

The English sets don't have the mix up with the episodes. I bought the English box sets individually and there are only English subtitles, and the 'extras' consist of a couple of filmographies and a couple of photogalleries. The complete box set is exactly the same DVD's just a bit cheaper and in a cardboard sleeve.

No idea about the German ones, sorry.

Thanks. Good to see that this community isn’t dead yet. I was a bit worried since I’m obviously late to the party. :)

Well, the German DVDs as far as I know don’t have subtitles in either language, so those and the right order of episodes would definitely be a plus for the UK version, especially since they are cheaper than the German ones - at least on Amazon.

However, I also checked on ebay and there is a German DVD complete series box set on there which so far is at about 30 Euro. Might try my luck there tonight, because I feel like if it’s about 6 Euro per season, than I might be willing to accept the mixup. After all, when you know about it you can still watch the episodes in the right order.

Well, it is rather quiet but we still do get the occasional bit of fic and mixes posted.

Yeah, 30 Euros is a very decent price, especially if you already know the order. Did you manage to get the boxset?

No, I didn’t. The price (including postage) went up until the used box did cost more than a new one does on Amazon. I kept an eye on a couple of auctions and it looks like I’ll have to pay at least 10 Euro per season, but 60 Euro is a lot of money…

However, I’m glad I didn’t get rid of my VCR, that way I can at least tape the German version when it's on. That’ll keep the fangirl in me going until I’m lucky enough to win an auction on ebay. ;)

In Divine Proportion is on right now. Nathaniel Parker and Richard Armitage on screen together is definitely worth watching again.
