DVD sets - German vs. English
Hi everyone!
I just recently discovered the Inspector Lynley series and now I’m contemplating buying it on DVD. However, I’m a bit confused when it comes to which version I should get. Since I’m from Germany I would prefer to get the German version so I could watch it in either German or English, but reviews on Amazon.de indicate that they mixed up the order of episodes on the German DVDs (as in the pilot episode is in the last DVD box and such).
Are there similar issues with the English version? Is there a difference between the English version of the season box sets and the complete collection DVD set? Does the English version have any extra features or subtitles?
Does anyone on here have the German DVD sets? If so, is there a difference between the season boxsets and the complete collection? One of the reviews on amazon.de said that the complete collection had two more episodes on it, but it doesn’t seem like that’s the case, but than the product description on amazon isn’t that great. How badly did they mix up the episodes on the German DVDs? Is it just the pilot episode or are other episodes in the wrong order as well?
