Adventures in Cadaverland, Part I

While standing out in the hallway and slowly breathing in the lovely smell of the cadaver lab, I started to feel weak.  My fingers were tingling and my brain felt fuzzy.  I was given my scrubs, gloves and lab coat and it started really sinking in.  I have always wanted to do a cadaver lab, but here I was moments before, and I thought I was going to ( Read more... )

Not really...lab wasn't until 1pm and I had a bagel for breakfast and soup for lunch, I was scared to eat much in case I threw up haha. I ate right after though, I didn't have an issue afterwards at all. I was totally fine after like 10 minutes into it all, whew.

That makes me queasy just thinking about it. While I'm pretty fascinated with morbidity, I'd never be able to actually cut into someone.
