You are so right about "House of Mirth". More like "House of fucking bullshit from the patriarchy." Which is generally the theme of Edith Wharton's entire work.

I don't think I could stand to read the book now, now that I know what happens. 8 [

Okay, the House of Mirth wasn't

In one of my college classes we could choose from a list of books to read for a project, and I picked this one because I thought it might be, you know, mirthful. You can imagine my dismay. I did go on to see the movie though, because Gillian Anderson.

I liked Sleepy Hollow too! I mean, I thought it was super duper silly, but enjoyable and engaging.

Finally why did the mods delete the "Summer of Spike" LJ? It was just sitting there with stories and history, not hurting anybody

Oh no, that sucks! All that fanfic, plus the comments people received on their work. What could be the purpose of deleting all of that?

I always think of you when I see Gillian Anderson. So many scenes where she breaks your heart, especially when she's crying that she's "a useless person". 8 [

Sleepy Hollow won my heart when the headless horseman started blasting with a pump action shotgun. Hahahaha!

Why the deletion of Summer of Spike? Who knows, people are so weird. Don't ya know, the Buffy fandom is dead!
