My car just stopped moving on a country road yesterday and must be towed back into Austin. We suspect the transmission is conspiring against me. Please do me a favor.  If early voting's still going on near you (and I don't see why it wouldn't, it is here until Friday) go vote.  Or on Tuesday.  Whichever.  Doesn't matter if our politics are different, just do it.  Please.  And keep an eye out for voter intimidation.  Been hearing of that.  Disgusting.

Dungeons & Dragons co-creator Gary Gygax dies at 69

MILWAUKEE (AP) - The man who co-created the game Dungeons & Dragons and helped start the role-playing phenomenon is dead.

Gary Gygax (GEYE'-gaks) died this morning at his home in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, about 55 miles southwest of Milwaukee.
