Well... I can say my mood has improved a bit lately. Biggest change? When I'm driving, I used to listen to Radiohead or Live... now I've got Jack Johnson on. I was in a restaurant today and heard some song on the Muzak station... it was from the early to mid nineties, I think... and I could have sworn the last part of it had Dolores O'Riordan on backup vocals. I wrote another song tonight... while I drove home from work. It's called "The 91st Parallel." In my opinion, it's not quite as good as "Live Without Living" but still, not bad. Definitely a bit more upbeat. And the lyrics are in vox_draconis as usual.

It was snowing tonight... the first snow of the year, as far as I know. Roads were nicely covered with about an inch or two of the stuff, making things a bit treacherous... especially for me in my light, sporty, rear-wheel-drive car. I made it home from work without slipping around too much.
