Its like having an iphone and a sidekick combined. I don't care what anyone says, maybe the iphone is indeed better, but having a mini keyboard with a touch screen kicks ass. And GPS means I won't get lost as often.

i hate relationships. and more importantly, i hate that i always like someone more than they like me. i'm sorry, but a 2-hour drive is not long distance in my mind. and i really do believe that if you both like each other enough, you can make it work. it's obvious that she didn't like me enough to try.

so, i'm not a failure after all. after accepting the offer from University of Florida, I got acceptances from University of Miami (who originally deferred me), Stetson, and Loyola Marymount. that means i got accepted to about 50% of the places i applied to. not bad considering i bombed my LSAT. but i have decided to stay at UF, at least for the ( Read more... )

...from University of Miami. I got deferred. which pretty much means no. i'm really scared now, because i thought that would be my safety school. turns out they are more selective than i gave them credit for. what a bummer.

i am having the time of my life in Orlando. i'm making new friends and connections everyday. i even have a girl who likes me *a lot*. don't want to jinx it by writing about it, but i may be even happier here than i was in L.A.. it's a lot to think about.

good news, guys...transcript went through. now, i just wait to hear back from the law schools. not gonna lie...i applied to really top notch schools...but my GPA is low, my LSAT score is mediocre...i dont really have any extracurricular activities that would make me stand out. but i have a lot of heart and determination...so please pray for me.

'm going to have an anxiety attack. Actually, I've already had one. After many calls to my university, it appeared that they had lost my transcript request over the winter break. Finally, a girl who worked there promised to take care of it for me --- and she did. She sent out my transcript to LSAC via USPS Express Mail, and it arrived in PA today. ( Read more... )

fights with family members suck. especially ones where both sides are irrational just for the hell of it. i now remember that my brother is just as hard-headed as i am. we had it out tonight so finally, he's agreed that it's time for me to leave Baton Rouge. so...here i come, Orlando.
