Yep, I went. I even made it in this picture on the SFGate site, although you really have to know I'm there before you can pick me out. It was my first political rally ever, and I suspect a rather fluffy one. There were more Obama supporters there than McCain supporters, and they mostly kept to their respective groups. We did a fair bit of chanting; my voice was rather hoarse for a while. We never really saw Sarah. We saw her motorcade come in, from a distance. At the end, we expected the motorcade to come back out near where I was parked, so I waited for that. I saw a blurry shadow of someone who clearly was Sarah, waving to the crowd from inside an SUV as they tore out of the hotel parking lot.
