I am--literally--very sick of this.

Been sick for a couple of days now and the last two or three, I've started showing signs of infection. Unfortunately, it's a familiar thing to me. I've had Staph three times in the last two years. This will make four if it turns out that it's Staph and I have every reason to believe it is. Went to the clinic this morning to have it checked out and ( Read more... )

OMG! I hope your infection clears up... if it is MSRA... oh man. *crosses fingers for you*

LOL about correcting the test. WAY back when I was first writing I would get the two mixed up. (I still pronounce prostate as prostrate in my head most of the time *headdesk*)

Did you correct the note? *hugs*

I really hope so too. This sucks and even more so because I never know when it's just going to happen again.

I think way back in the day some word programs would automatically correct it to prostrate, but yes I've seen a lot of people do this and it will sometimes continue to happen even when they have the difference pointed out to them.

Someone beat me to the then/than thing in the laundry room with a ball point pen, lol.

Prostrate vs. prostate seems like a pretty important distinction in a medical context, yes :/

The recurring infections thing sucks, big time. I really hope it's not an MRSA. The dermatologist might help - maybe something changed in terms of diet or whatever when you started there - sometimes changes to skin pH can make one more liable to infections. Or even just stress.

Some serious shit could go wrong if you get them confused in that profession, lol.

Well, I'm stressed a lot that's for sure, but it does keep happening so I think it's something other than my diet. We'll see and I hope it gets better too. It's painful and not at all fun.
