So far- I love what SJG is doing to my skin, my nose has far less blackheads and my skin looks great. It feels a little dry sometimes after wiping off the SGJ and I don't really use anything else other than facial cleanser but I might be willing to try a moisturizer ( Read more... )

Blackberry has a little paper inside, it says "BOOM!" - but it's just the one piece.

What you might do is get a largish tea ball and put the bath product in there, so that it will catch the nasties and you can still use your favorite products w/o ruining your tub. You can also rig one up with a couple of strainers like for pasta, put end to end and closed somehow.

I read about the large tea ball on the lush site somewhere, probably in one of the reviews. I'm going to try and steal my mom's tomorrow when I visit her. It hasn't seen use in oh, about 30 years, so I'm sure she wont miss it! (and yes, I'll ask her before I take it)

Blackberry Bath Bomb has a little piece of paper on the inside. All the other ones you're good. I've never used Two Timing Tart so perhaps another member of the community can clarify if that one has surprises in it or not.

Avoid any shampoos with salt in them (such as Seanik, Big, Ultimate Shine). Rehab is questionable and I've seen 50/50 on whether or not it's good for colored hair (when I tried it the red in my hair was already gone so I'm not too sure). If you want solid shampoos, try out Karma Komba, Godiva, Trichomania, perhaps even New.

Hope that helps a little! :]

Would a lush store give samples of New? I'd like to try it but not flat out buy it if it might eff up my hair, so I figure if I could get a sample I'd try it before I plan on doing my roots.

They usually can't give out samples of solid shampoos/body butters/most naked products. Sometimes if there's a cool SA they might go the extra mile for you and see if they have a broken one or something. I know I've given out samples of body butters and massage bars to cool customers. In case you have to take a trip to get to your nearest Lush, give your local store a call and see if they can possibly get you a sample :]

You might be able to find a Lush swap thingy on the internet and see if anyone can possibly get you a sample too. I hope you can get your hands on one!

Luckily I'm about 15-20 minutes away from the Lush Citywalk, even though I've only gotten my products from the site so far, but I'm definitely making a trip there soon.

Ultimate Shine is the best shampoo for colored hair that lush has anymore. It's a solid.

I've never used any of that bath stuff except Blackberry, and I've never noticed any paper in mine, so *shurg* Dunno what to tell you there.

As has been said in the previous comments, Blackberry has a small piece of paper inside. Vanilla Fountain has a vanilla bean in the middle. Idk if that would dissolve in the bath or not... probably not. Haha ( ... )

My skin is acne prone, I'll definitely try Vanishing cream to see what I think. =)

Squeeky Green would likely be good on your hair it's pretty gentle. As has been said, anything with sea salt can can cause the colour to fade. And in regular ole shampoo anti-dandruff shampoo isn't great on coloured hair either. Soak and Float has Cade oil is likely relatively harsh on hair colour too but I don't know that 100%.
