So far- I love what SJG is doing to my skin, my nose has far less blackheads and my skin looks great. It feels a little dry sometimes after wiping off the SGJ and I don't really use anything else other than facial cleanser but I might be willing to try a moisturizer ( Read more... )

Did you talk to an SA before purchasing Soak and Float? That should have been a qualifying question, whether or not you colored your hair, and Soak and Float should never have been an option.

Hybrid is another that will strip color. Why are you using Soak and Float anyway? Is your scalp damaged? For dandruff, use The Blonde (love it), but really I'd need more info before recommending products.

If you're using SJG you don't need to piggy back with Coal Face. The idea is less not more. More cleansers will make your skin freak out. Since you're implying that your skin tends to be more oily, Vanishing Cream would be a nice option. Plus - use a toner to remove SJG - Breath of Fresh Air would be perfect. It'll rehydrate and put minerals back into your skin (something else an SA should have told you). Just wiping it off does nothing for putting water back into your skin, causing it to feel more dry.

I ordered the products off the website, so I didn't have any contact with anyone who works in the stores. I have dry scalp issues in winter, but I wouldn't use The Blonde since my hair is dyed black. I've heard Ultimate Shine would work well on my hair as well as Trichomania.

I like SJG but it's really exfoliating and I'd like to use it maybe once-twice a week, using a different cleanser the other days. I'll definitely look into BoFA and Vanishing.

And that's why a SA would have been good to talk to. The Blonde doesn't turn your hair color or pull dye - the lemon helps give it shine and works in concert with chamomile which makes it great for dandruff. I know what the website says, but my PK says it'd doesn't lighten.

If you think SJG is exfoliating and Coal Face isn't - well I can't answer that one.

How about Angels on Bare Skin? The exfoliation is much gentler because of the almond meats, not the shells.

I think I'm going to try just using SJG at night, and in the mornings rinsing my face with water and then using BoFA for a while, since I only want to introduce one new product at a time. I'm going to be going into a Lush store for my next purchase so I'll definitely have a SA to talk to.
