HEY HONEYS... I'm Iris and I'm 19. My passion for Lush ignited the minute I laid eyes on Creamy Candy Bubble Bar a few years ago. My LUSH store is Swanston St, Melbourne, Australia.

I used to have bad acne, but magic meds fixed it. I now keep my normal/combination skin (prone to break outs on my chin) under control with this routine; Cleanse with ( Read more... )

you'd probably like Ice Blue if you're into Demon in the Dark! Very refreshing! Also, if you liked Blackberry, the Sultana of Soap is the same scent, and super creamy.

Flosty Gritter and Pop In The Bath are two bubble bars you might like too...

Exactly my idea! :)

If you like citrus smells, you will love lemslip for the ZING effect too :)

My lifesaver is Dream Cream.. I work as a postman (well, uh, woman :P) and atm the weather is cold, wet and windy and usually my hands look like crap.. But with dream cream my hand are supersoft and look great! The Soft Touch does also give great results with my hands and especially my cuticles, but if you don't like the greasy feel of buffy you won't like that either.

If you like gritty scrubs, try Ocean Salt, you will love that I think :)

I loooove Ocean Salt. I can't use it too frequently, because it'll dry out my skin, but I adore the way it smells and it makes my skin feel so very smooth.

I'm also in love with Sympathy for the Skin. Smells so good . . .

Thirding Ocean Salt! I love it for body and face! To counteract the drying I use a rich moisturizer like Dream Cream on legs and body post-shower.

*Laughs*

I just used Brazened Honey last night - it smells so gorgeous, doesn't it?

Let's see... I just adore Sonic Death Monkey - the name, the chocolate-coffee-orange smell, how lovely it makes my skin and hair feel! It's one of my staples, and I only bought it because I liked the name! Hsuan Wen Hua is an incredible hair-rescue for when it gets a bit neglected during term-time. (Getting to college is windy!) Angels on Bare Skin I only bought because a friend won't use anything else - now I'm hooked, too! It's slightly scrubby, but gentle and soothing.

Wake-up stuff... Hmm. My Demon in the Dark is still wrapped, since I found it so great for keeping my sock drawer smelling nice! Avobath is meant to be brilliant for that, if you have time for a bath - maybe Avowash if not. And I agree with above, too - Ocean Salt can be used on more than just your face, it's gritty, but melts slightly so it shouldn't be rough, and very definitely has the zing factor!

Nice to have you!

I had used Ocean Salt on my face and found it so harsh it made me break out... But I never thought to use it on my body, I didn't know you could, so thank you for that! I'm definitely grabbing some to give me a citrussy zing on my sleepy body!

Hsuan Wen Hua... I've never heard of that, Australian LUSH is so behind the times and we haven't recieved it yet... Can you give me a quick description if you have the time? I'm intruiged!

Avobath and Avowash... I never thought of that, I shyed away from the lemongrass scent but I didn't think of using it for a wake-up zing! Will try some of that too!

I gave Daddy some SDM for christmas amongst other things... He is on holidays in India so I think I might sneak myself a try of it!!

Thankyou for your lovely comment and recommendations, very helpful!! ♥

You'd probably love You Snap the Whip (same scent as Blackberry bomb) because it's not as greasy as Buffy and much more gritty, like Coalface. Maybe you could try a moisturizer like Imperialis or Cosmetic Lad. They may work for you better than Enzymion. Since you like doing masks, you could try Volcano, the foot mask. It's freaking awesome for the feet. You could try some haircare too, since you're so into the skincare. The Blonde is great. It makes your hair super soft and shiny and smells amazing. Depending on your hairtype would determine what other products you could use. You might like Big a lot. Well, good luck with everything new you try!

I ADORE coalface, and blackberry bomb, so your description of You Snap The Whip is wonderful, I'll definitely have to give it a go! Sounds perfect, thankyou :)

I was given a sample of The Blonde, I haven't used it since I was younger and hadn't begun highlighting my hair. I think I might pick some up next Lush trip!

Big is the salt ricey shampoo? What sort of effect does it have on your hair? Does it really give volume? because my hair could do with some of that!!

We don't have Volcano here yet.. DARN it.. I remember a foot mask, something like Two To Tango? It's discon here too :( Darn Australia being behind the times!!

Thankyou for your comment darling ♥

Yes, Big is the salt-based shampoo (50% salt to be exact). The effects are awesome! Tons of volume and shine. The salt actually provides those effects but there's also lots of seaweed for even more shine and softness. If you work it really well around your scalp and then follow up with a light conditioner like Veganese, you'll have tons of volume.

As for the foot masks, After Tango is discontinued here as well. I'm surprised there's no Volcano - my guess is that it doesn't have as long of a shelf life as most of the other products, so they don't bother shipping it down there. Maybe you could place an online order :/

My #1 happy surprise product is Daddy-O. I seriously thought I'd hate it because it smelled odd in the bottle, and I was grumbly about adding another product to my regime (I'd just been shampooing with either Flying Fox or a solid shampoo). I took home a sample and fell in LOVE, big-time. It left my hair cleaner and shinier than ever before! I have long brown hair with a chunk of blue in front and bleached in back, and the violet extract adds clarity and dimension all over my head. I combine with Jungle (another lovely surprise) for extra smoothiosity. Hooray for Daddy-O! I will never doubt thee again!

babe we haven't got Daddy-O in australia yet... Can you tell me a bit about it? And by the way your hairstyle sounds rad... I wish I could try something that new & daring! xo

Ooh, bummer. It's a violet based purple shampoo with a lot of lemon in it. It smells a bit like fish in the bottle, but once it's wet and on your hair all you smell are flowers. Maybe you can coordinate with some other folks for an international order?

I'd been able to get the same color boosting effect from Veganese, but liked Jungle so much I decided to switch.

Thanks for the compliments on my do! I'm quite pleased with it. :>

I can't live without my flying fox stuff and the comforter. The comforter reminds me of childhood, biggest/best bubbles ever and the water feels like silk.Mmmmm
