HEY HONEYS... I'm Iris and I'm 19. My passion for Lush ignited the minute I laid eyes on Creamy Candy Bubble Bar a few years ago. My LUSH store is Swanston St, Melbourne, Australia.

I used to have bad acne, but magic meds fixed it. I now keep my normal/combination skin (prone to break outs on my chin) under control with this routine; Cleanse with ( Read more... )

Let's see. I love Ocean Salt for a body and face scrub. The scent - almost like a daiquiri - is wonderful and very refreshing.

Dream Cream is great if your skin gets very dry. My legs get dry and itchy, especially in the winter, and Dream Cream softens them right up.

Whoosh! shower jelly is great for that wake-up feeling, and smells citrus-herbal. The only thing is many people (me included) don't especially like the texture of the shower jellies. You get around that by breaking off a small piece, smooshing it into a shower poof or scrubby gloves, and lathering up with the poof or gloves.

I like the Shimmy Shimmy glitter bar. It smells nice and the pinky-gold glitter bits are very skin-flattering, and not too gaudy. When you use it you want to melt it very thoroughly in your hands first so the glitter doesn't scratch you.

The Holiday bubble bar (aka Ruby Red Slippers) is one of my faves. I love it's carnation-rose goodness.

I once used Ocean Salt sample on my face and it made me break out, too harsh for my combination/normal skin.... But I didn't even think of using it on my body, I THINK IT WOULD BE PERFECT! Thanks for that, I'll def pick up a tub tomorrow. It will be so nice for a cool scrub in this hot weather :)

I'll also give WHOOSH a go!! Thankyou for your comment ♥

oh! i guess i didn't realize you're in Australia! d'oh! but anyhoo, it's soap. just came out this past year. if you're into the citrus scents and you can get your hands on some, i'm sure you'll love it. my only gripe is that the scent doesn't linger on your skin like some of the other soaps. although that could have just been that batch...

something i just love is jungle. i have thick, dry, extremely damaged hair, and it actually works extremely well for me and smells quite nice.

ooh, I never thought to try jungle. can you describe the scent for me please? Lush descriptions in the Lush times are sometimes a bit off! xoxo

it's kind of a complex scent to me. the best i can come up with is "plantlike". someone once described it as smelling of crushed leaves and i think that's pretty accurate. i also get hints of fruit/flowers, because i think it has both in it.

anyway, i'm very, very picky about scents and it's really easy for me to hate them, which is why living so far away from a lush store sucks - but i really like jungle, so i think most people would too.
