Y! 2! J!

For those, like me, who have given up on WWE, here is the return of Chris "Lionheart/Y2J" Jericho on last Monday's RAW. Sadly this also means watching Randy Orton stumble his way through his limited mic skills...

What does the Orton family have on the McMahon family? prowler7 November 23 2007, 03:10:34 UTC
Bob Sr or Jr MUST have some major dirt on the McMahon family for Jr to have had such a long career in the WWF and for his talentless son to now be the Champ. Seriously, NOBODY in the Orton family could EVER work a mike (which is why Jr always hid behind managers and charismatic wrestlers like Piper), but at least they can wrestle, I will give them that much.

Who says it has to be dirt? It could just be sheer ass-kissing business as usual for the the narcissistic Vince...

Yeah, but can ass kissing get you the cushy jobs that the Ortons have had over the years? I dunno, you may be right though.

I just think that Orton fits the WWE's "formula" so well that he'll keep getting pushed. Orton is muscular, has been able to speak in the past (the RNN updates were a thing of beauty), and can at least be carried to a good match.

And even though he doesn't speak on the mic very well, the fans don't like him. So he keeps getting booed. Which, in a fed desperate for top-level heels, makes him a clear choice to be pushed.

That's Chris Jericho? Boy does he look different from the last time I saw him in 99.

And is Y2J still a worthwhile name? Do kids even understand the reference?

And the speaking capabilities between the two are pretty obvious. I understand now why the days of the Rock and Mankind were so engrossing.
