Well, real life got in the way, and I didn't do my planned post.

Have just had a lovely weekend on the Sunshine Coast, though the sun didn't - shine, that is. Went to the market at Eumundi to immerse myself in some good old retail therapy. They have the most gorgeous things there. I have come away with lots of contact details to mail-order

They were truly marvellous, and the advantage of being in Oz is that they played a really small venue. I am envious of your fab weekend at V, though I am a bit beyond camping, unless there is a convenient hotel! We went to the Australian V earlier this year, which was only one day, but saw some great acts - Jarvis Cocker, Groove Armada, 2 Many DJs and, as camp as a row of tents - the Pet Shop Boys. A good day was had by all, apart from the inevitable queue for beer tokens.

The Lorikeets are beautiful! I wish we had such exotic wild animals where I live but the most colorful bird I get to see is a Cardinal maybe a Blue Jay if I'm lucky!

I can't wait to read whatever you end up writing for the exchange and fest. A threesome, huh? I'm intrigued.
