A/N:  So I was working on back story for Edge as I try to get that massive Nanowrimo’ed manuscript into shape and this little ficlet came to me when I saw wrenskywalker’s prompt for the 2007 K/L ficathon.  I know it’s a rather self-indulgent interpretation of the prompt, but you don’t actually have to have read Edge to understand the story.  I used the second

And yeah, Edge became my NaNo project. Which means it's almost entirely done! Yay! It needs a lot of editing, but when I start posting it after the new year, I should be able to update a few times a week.
