A/N This story came to me, while I was waiting for the bus this morning on the way to work.

For as long as Luke had known Reid, it had always been in the fridge. It was something he always had when relaxing, after his shift, or having a long day.
Then when Luke and Reid moved in together it was gone. Luke notice the first day it was not in the fridge.
A week later Luke noticed that Reid didn't order it when they went out.
After a month passed Luke bought it, and put it in the fridge.
Luke was at the desk typing on the computer, when Reid came into the house mumbling.
     "Bad day?" Luke asked.
"Don't want to talk about it," Reid  put his jacket in the closet.
     Luke counted to five.
"I swear the nurses don't know how to read,' Reid said.
"One of them had questions about the charts," Luke said.
"I don't  want to talk about it," Reid said.
Luke counted to three as Reid walked passed him.
Reid turned around quickly, facing Luke. "How  hard is it to read a chart. My directions were clear.'
Reid headed to the kitchen. A few seconds later Luke heard Reid opening and closing the fridge. Luke laugh knowing that Reid thought he was seeing things.
Reid came into the room with something in his hands. "What is this doing in the fridge?" Reid ask.
"I bought it. It's the right brand right," Luke said.
"It is, but why?" Reid said.
"You haven't bought any of that stuff in awhile. I thought maybe you had went over your limit on your sandwich fund, and that's why you didn't have the money for it," Luke joked.
'No it's not that,' Reid said.
"Then why have you been denying yourself?" Luke asked.
"I was doing it for you." Reid said.
Luke got up from his chair and walked over to Reid. "You always have had a beer in front of me, and had it in the fridge. Why the change?"
"Cause back then you we weren't living together. You weren't with me all the time. Now that we are living together, I thought maybe I would cause you to drink again. Counting there's all these things happening," Reid said.
     "What things?" Luke asked.
"Your mom is marrying Craig, holden and Molly are divorcing, and just last month Faith had ran away for two weeks.Reid said.
"Yes that could cause me to start drinking again, but so have other things in the past. Reid there have been several times I have wanted to drink, but I have survived,' Luke said.
     "How?" Reid asked.
"I try to think of other things, I talk to my parents, and my sponsor. They help me," Luke said.
Reid put the beer down on the coffee table. "Why don't you ever talk  to me about it?' Reid asked. He never told Luke, but Reid felt left out on Luke's drinking history.
"Cause I'm afraid I will scare you, talking about it," Luke said.
"You scare me not talking about it." Reid said." I wonder if your doing ok, or having problems," Reid ran his hand through Luke's hair and then brought down to Luke's neck.
Luke did the same thing to Reid. "Let's make a deal."
"What kind of deal" Reid asked.
"You don't worry about drinking around me, and when I feel like I'm losing it. I will let you know. "Luke said.
"Deal," Reid leaned in and kissed luke. Luke kissed him back.
After that the beer was always in there fridge, and Reid order it when they were out.
When Luke felt like he wanted to drink he go straight to Reid first. If Reid was busy with work. Luke would text him three digits that they had decided meant Luke need him. When Reid  had a second to call, he'd talk to Luke about what was going on. Reid didn't mind if he sometimes couldn't  help Luke out and he went to his parents or his sponsor. He was just glad that he was involved when Luke needed help.
