Nov 08, 2013 15:01

Usually, I'd wait for her to post it herself, but good news needs to be shared and if the timestamp on her blog is any indication, it's the middle of the night for her. So go read the first part of ktbob's new interview with ESS on her blog here.

Spoiler alert: upcoming guest spots on The Good Wife and Nurse Jackie!

It definitely is good news! Hope it's just the beginning, although he seems to cherish his downtime from acting too, so... ;)

Thanks so much for the signal boost, moerlin! You're right, I was sleeping. Thank goodness for scheduled postings! :)

Can't wait to share the next parts of the interview. He's just awesome!

I figured everyone making blog posts at 4 in the morning couldn't really be awake, heh. Thanks for sharing with us. But, you know, you didn't have to do all that transcription work (I know how tedious that can get) - we totally would've been happy with audio files, too. ;)

Ha! Yeah, the audio would be popular, I'm sure. :) Without express permission, though, I just can't. Sorry.

I think you'll like the next couple installments, though!

What do you mean getting permission to spread the audio wasn't the first thing you did? *tsktsk* Seriously, I get it, not burning bridges and all that.

Are you implying that there'll be talk about either theatre, ESS temporarily moving to the old continent to do aforementioned activity, or a surprise as of yet unmentioned appearance on White Collar in the next installments? Because that's what I'm gonna be expecting now. Just saying. *g*

Fantastic. He's been busy.

And NURSE JACKIE!!!!!!! Hee. I'm sort of giddy about that. It's a very funny and smart show with great subtle comedy that is sometimes covered in misery. Love, love, love it.

Thanks for sharing the news.

Wonder if he's been auditioning for any plays too, hmm hmm.

LOL, I was actually thinking of you when I first read Nurse Jackie because you'd mentioned it before. I'm seriously considering marathoning it if I end up liking the first couple episodes. 56 episodes @ 30 mins is totally doable in, like, 3 days, right? (But really, I'm looking for a new anti-hero-but-sort-of-hero now that Dexter is over - could Nurse Jackie fill that void?)

Dexter ended? Will you PM how it ended? I watched the first few seasons, but then I lost interest. I got sick of the references to his "dark passenger" and Deb wore on my nerves. I'll never go back and watch the last couple of seasons. Maybe I'll find the last two eps on Showtime on Demand and check it out ( ... )

Will PM you later. I probably won't be able to keep my thoughts on Dexter all that short....

Sooo, I watched the pilot and surprisingly love it already! My kind of humor. I don't mind flawed characters - they're more interesting to watch anyway - but drugs/drinking (especially when paired with driving, which hasn't happened so far) and cheating are usually things that turn me off characters really fast and take me a long time to "forgive". I don't know why, but I don't mind it with Nurse Jackie so far.

After watching the pilot, I kinda want a LuRe crack!fic now where, when they tell Luke they're gonna harvest Reid's organs, he insists that he wants to keep Reid's dick. :D This is what watching this show in the middle of the night does to me, apparently.

Heh - mystery seems to be the word of the day :)
Thanks for the edit - I'm one of those who don't use AND have something against Facebook ;) Now, if only I was in New York...

:D

I hear ya, I'm not a fan either but unfortunately, it does have its uses sometimes (at least for me). *sigh*
I'm genuinely curious about the play, so I really hope someone'll go and report back.
