[Just a little drabble]

“Reid, I can’t believe you had never seen Brokeback Mountain.” Luke furtively stifled a sniffle and leaned closer to Reid on Katie’s sofa.

Reid shrugged. “I still don’t see what’s so great about it.”

Luke looked surprised and sat up. “It’s a gay classic, Reid! What didn’t you like about it?”

“How about the fact that it buys into the rampant Hollywood cliché of the gay character kicking the bucket in the end?”

“But it’s a period piece and that part of the story is necessary to show what it was like for gay men living at that time,” Luke replied.

Reid still looked skeptical.

Luke sighed and smiled. “Seriously, you can’t tell me you didn’t enjoy parts of that movie. I mean, c’mon. Two cowboys making out? Two cowboys played by Jake Gyllenhaal and Heath Ledger making out

Thanks for giving us this lovely scene! The opportunities those ATWT writers missed - they really should've given us some more scenes with the guys just being domestic and doing couple-y things...

Reid blew his nose for what felt like the tenth time. He glared at Luke, who seemed oblivious. He was cranky, and his allergies were acting up on top of it. It was a wonder he hadn't taken Luke's head off yet.

"See, Reid, she's not that bad." Reid held back a groan as the horse exhaled in his face. Luke was holding in his laughter, Reid could tell.

"You know," Reid said, looking around the barn. "When you said you wanted to go riding, this is not what I had in mind."

Reid's got allergies! Oh, I love that idea. Now maybe Luke can make it up to Reid by allowing him to ride something else? Funny!

HEEE. :D I never considered it before, but I am firmly on board with Reid having allergies now. Of course, Reid having allergies kind of rules out barn sex... *sigh* The dilemma's of a fangirl.

Yes! That's something that I don't think I've read about Reid before--could be interesting and maybe that's why he's scared of germs?

Well, even if there's no barn sex, there's gonna be a lot of other sex, no? :D
