“You think I’m here to apologize?” Luke bellowed, his voice far too loud for such a small space. “Ha!”

Drunk Luke. Oh no. :(

And when Luke said he should have made Reid promise not to die I wanted to weep.

That panic attack was just so intense. My heart was pounding.

Oh my. Luke is just breaking my heart.

the bit with the marble. *sighs*

“No,” he agreed quietly. “It wasn’t.”
*gasps* and this.

amazing chapter.

Only thing Reid ever asked was for me to take care of my kidney, and now I’ve broken that promise ‘cause of you.” Luke’s face fell. “Course he just meant so we could be together forever, and then he went off and died anyway, so what difference does it make now? Should’ve made him promise me too.”

Oh, Luke. :(

The elevator was definitely a turning point. I became teary when Luke gave Reid the coat. I am glad he is not so angry and suspicious anymore, but of course he still grieving for his Reid. I loved the story of the marble and how Reid told Luke it belongs to him. I look forward to seeing where they go from here.

Very powerful chapter! Luke angry and mocking ...then so grief-stricken - Just want to hug that boy!

Reid is great here too. I love where he gets all emotional.
