Luke sat with one leg crossed under him on the edge of the bed. He had just taken a shower and had on a clean pair of boxers. He ran his hands through his hair a few times, water still flying everywhere. Just as he was about to collapse on the bed, there was a knock on the door. He stood, grabbed a pair of sweat pants from his duffel bag and pulled them on before heading for the door.

"Grandmother!"

Luke looked at his grandmother Lucinda, who pulled off her huge designer sunglasses as he opened the door.

"Luke, darling." she said, walking into the room.

"What are you doing here?" Luke closed the door and turned back to her.

"I can't pay my favorite grandson a visit in his new..." she looked around, "Why are you living in a hotel?"

"I haven't found a nice apartment that I like yet."

Lucinda then pulled him into a hug and kissed his cheek, "Your mother says you were thinking about coming home for the weekend since you canceled the last two?"

Luke pulled away, "Maybe, I don't know yet."

"Luke," Reid walked out of the bathroom in a towel, "Do you have an extra..." He stopped talking when he noticed Lucinda.

"And who is this gorgeous young man?" Lucinda looked pointedly at Luke before stepping closer to Reid.

"Dr. Reid Oliver." Reid extended his hand at the same time, tightening his grip on the towel around his waist.

"A doctor," Lucinda took his hand and turned back to Luke, who was trying not to look embarrassed, "You've been keeping secrets from your grandmother, Luke."

Reid's eyes widened, "Ms. Walsh?"

Lucinda turned back to him and smiled, "I am."

"Reid." Luke said, making both Lucinda and Reid look at him, "What did you need?"

"Oh, a toothbrush."

Luke nodded and pulled a new toothbrush out of his duffel, passing it to Reid. He was expecting Reid to head back into the bathroom but he didn't move. Lucinda had already turned back to Luke. Luke looked between then before looking at Reid.

"Reid... maybe you should, um... get dressed."

Reid looked down at himself and smirked, "Right." and he headed back into the bathroom, closing the door.

"I knew you would find yourself someone new." Lucinda smiled at him, "Let's have lunch, darling. Get dressed and meet me in the lobby." she said, opening the door, "Oh, and bring that doctor of yours."

Luke watched as his grandmother left the hotel room. As soon as the door was closed, he heard laughter coming from the bathroom. Reid emerged in boxers, the toothbrush in his mouth.

"Shut up." Luke tried not to laugh himself, "That was totally awkward and embarrassing."

"You should have told me Lucinda Walsh was going to be showing up." Reid said around the toothbrush.

"I didn't know." Luke's voice got a little squeaky, "She wants to have lunch... with both of us."

"I can't turn down food." Reid shrugged, returning to the bathroom.

"That's all you're thinking about is food when you literally just met my grandmother," Luke walked over to the bathroom door, leaning against it as he watched Reid, "She's going to ask you a lot of questions. Filled with feelings and personal things."

Reid smirked, "You're afraid she's not going to like me."

"Who does?"

"You."

Luke laughed, "Besides me?"

Reid rinsed out his mouth, turned off the water and turned to Luke. They had been doing this... thing, whatever it was for a little over two weeks now. They always returned to Luke's hotel room after having lunch or dinner. Luke had told him about his family. About his parents on-again off-again relationships, his younger siblings, about Lucinda and about his grandma Emma and her cooking.

"Okay, point." Reid crossed his arms over his chest as he leaned back against the sink, "So, what did you tell her?"

"What do you mean?"

"About us."

Luke shrugged, "I didn't say anything. I'm not really sure what we are."

Reid unfolded his arms and pulled Luke towards him, "I don't do relationships but you've somehow squirmed your way into my life."

Luke smiled, wrapping his arms around Reid's waist, "Are you saying this is a relationship?"

"Absolutely not." Reid smirked, "I'm saying we could possibly be dating."

Luke laughed and pulled away, "Get dressed, she's going to get impatient if we make her wait long."

Reid nodded and left the bathroom to get dressed. After the second night staying with Luke in his hotel room, Reid had brought a few changes of clothes with him. But last night was not really planned so he did not have a toothbrush with him at the time. He quickly got dressed and then they headed down to the lobby to find Lucinda.
