Okay, moerlin, I know I said I wouldn't do one but I can't resist. :)

“Reid?”

Luke sighs when the body next to him shifts farther away from him on the bed.

“I’m sorry.”

Reid wraps the blanket tighter around himself and covers his head as well.

“I didn’t mean for it to happen,” Luke says quietly. “It just did.”

A mumbling erupts from under the blanket.

“What, Reid?” Luke asks eagerly, moving closer to Reid.

“Could you be quiet? I’m trying to sleep,” Reid mutters.

Luke says nothing more.

“Look! I made your favorite,” Luke, a huge grin on his face, says as he points to the eggs and pancakes feast on the kitchen table.

Reid, a scowl on his face, walks to the counter and pours himself a cup of coffee. “Not hungry.”

“You’re always hungry,” Luke says, his smile slowly fading.

“I was always a lot of things,” Reid says with a snort as he leans against the counter and drinks ( ... )

Poor Reid. I like how it was Luke who was a bit insensitive in this one. We so often see Reid stick his foot in his mouth that it's a nice change of pace.

Yeah, I'm sure Luke would say some not-so-nice things at times. Here, he simply found it funny and laughed. :)

This baby is just unbearable! I had to stare at it for quite some moments before I started reading:)
AAWW POOR Reid, I see him devastated and all rationalizing and talking medically about it!
Perhaps there was another explanation -
Noah was peeping through the curtains..

Hooray, I'm glad you like my baby icon! Hee hee.

And yes, Reid feels bad but it'll get better; he and Luke just have to keep trying. :D

Oh, gosh, no Noah--that's too scary!

Okay, is it bad if I laughed like Luke?! LOL! This was so true to life and sweet and cute and just yeah...the boys dealing with everyday life and problems that they would face is what we all crave to read about! Even problems between the sheets! xD

Thank you! :D

No, it's not bad! It happens, even to almost-perfect guys like Reid. :D

But he'll be okay; I'm sure it's just stress. Thanks for reading!

Poor Reid! I can see this would be something that would traumatize the guy. It's interesting that Luke acted so immature about it [reminiscent of him jumping up an down in the elevator] before he got his act together and apologized for his behavior. I like seeing the occasion cracks in the relationship because it shows that they're willing to work on those cracks.

Yes! I wanted to show immature!Luke because I do think he'd laugh about something like this, thinking Reid would too and then when Reid doesn't, Luke has to realize how serious it is and act more mature about it. Thanks.

I like this. The situation is realistic.

Poor Reid. But exhaustion and stress can do that to a guy.

I think they need some quiet time and long, slow back rubs.

And if that doesn't work, there's always the little blue pill! :)
