Since there was a very positive response to snapegirlusa's suggestion of using "celebration" as the holiday season approaches, we were thinking of using it as a prompt in the December 2nd Fun Fic Friday. Please speak up if there's any objection to this/you think you have a better idea/etc.

Awww, I can just see Reid being so angry over Benjamin getting suspended, but then sympathizing when he finds out what the fight was about (particularly out of Luke's earshot). And Luke would totally be the one to point out how much they love him.

Reid, always analyzing, and Luke having to bring him back to a personal level..Loved that Reid gave Benjamin sound advice in the end though. LOL

"Damn it, Luke, you always do this!" Reid shouted. His voice echoed through the empty on call room.

"Do what?!" Luke snapped. "What is it that I 'do'?"

"You push, and you push, and you push, until everyone is forced to see things the way you do," Reid told him. "You don't ever allow that anyone else might have a valid opinion worth exploring."

"Seriously?" Luke looked taken aback. "That's how you see me?"

"I - no, I just...I wish you would listen to reason for once." Reid sighed. "You get so wound up, and you just...fly off the handle."

"God forbid I have feelings, Reid." Luke ran a hand over his face. "Look, can't we just...agree to disagree on this?" Reid was quiet for a long moment.

"Yeah," Reid sighed again, pulling him close.

"Good," Luke answered. "Because there's no way I'll ever believe an Astronaut would ever beat a Caveman in a fight."

I'm sorry, it turned into utter crack.
