They’d just finished dinner and were sharing dishwashing duty, as they often did, since neither liked to do this particular chore. They compromised by always washing dishes together.
“Hmm?” Luke murmured as he scrubbed another plate.
“Our fifth anniversary.”
Luke exaggeratedly pretended to drop the plate in the sink. He looked over at Reid with a sly grin. “Wow, you remember.”
Reid narrowed his eyes. “I always do.”
Luke bumped his left shoulder against Reid’s right and laughed. “I know, but I do enjoy teasing you.”

Luke might want to specify what his corny, cheesy, romantic inscription is going to be so he doesn't end up with "I love Luke more than cheese and corn."
