They’d just finished dinner and were sharing dishwashing duty, as they often did, since neither liked to do this particular chore. They compromised by always washing dishes together.
“Hmm?” Luke murmured as he scrubbed another plate.
“Our fifth anniversary.”
Luke exaggeratedly pretended to drop the plate in the sink. He looked over at Reid with a sly grin. “Wow, you remember.”
Reid narrowed his eyes. “I always do.”
Luke bumped his left shoulder against Reid’s right and laughed. “I know, but I do enjoy teasing you.”
“Whatever,” Reid said, rinsing the plate under the faucet. “Anyway, since it’s been five long years since you roped me into this relationship, I ( ... )

I love how Luke is rambling on and on the whole time Reid is trying to tell him something, and then when he's supposed to talk, all he can manage is:
Luke swallowed audibly. “I thought, um, I mean, we haven’t-you haven’t, uh, we’ve never talked about that. LOL
