Lindy Hop! A type of swing dance from New York City, late nineteen-twenties.

I was. Completely whammied. Severus didn't take it very well.

[ooc: in hogwarts student gear and everything 8D]

I love them.

But what good will that do, other than make sure I get a square meal in me?

Are you alright?

Just a black eye. Nothing that won't clear up in a week...as the swelling goes down. I'm sure eating some sweets will take my mind off of it.

It WAS fun! I remember a bit about it. A bit enough to know I shouldn't have been doing some of those things at thirty-four.

Unfortunately, my dancing partner was very much not disposed to be dancing, or to have been made to.

Oh. Um, try and ice pack and a couple of asprin?

But I'm glad you had fun. Although there's no age too old for a Lindy Hop! I used to play for septuagenarians back in New York.

Did you really? That's a great compliment, coming from a young man who I personally feel kicked my arse soundly.

We lost either way, and I wouldn't say Lady Saxon's victory wasn't deserved. I must admit this was my first time.

It was very much deserved. She was a charming and talented young woman.

Myself, this wasn't my first time. Dancing is a hobby of mine, but one that I usually try to practice on my own and frequently when nobody else is looking.
