Graffon say, "Man who walks a mile in another man's shoes still knows not the bite of the gravel."
The battle lines are being drawn and re-drawn and re-drawn again. We grow, but slowly, much more slowly than our ability to destroy grows. And yet we have progressed. Perhaps we are the Rome of this age, an empire grown weak and decadent, decayed from within and attacked from without. But we grew out of Rome and another civilization will be born out of our ashes; hopefully it will rise higher, come closer to understanding the unity in which creation was meant to exist. Maybe we can plant the seeds that will grow into that new world. I hope.
