Foreign DH cover artworks are being released periodically, but most of them are boring or ugly (although the French one has a bit of artistic merit).

Anyway, the one for Ukraine came out today, and while it's not great, necessarily, I really liked how, I guess, saturated with scenes it is. It's sort of crazy in a similar way to the UK children's

Oh, I think I'm definitely looking at this with post-reading appreciation. It does give a lot away and is a bit too flashy. I hated the simplicity of the US cover when it first came out, but I really like it now.

Can you imagine the amount of theories this cover would produce? xD

the resemblance to the movie actors bugs me a bit, but really it just kind of reminds me of what the cover of most kids adventure books look like. which isn't good or bad just saying.

i like the french ones in general but i'm not so fond of dh, i know a lot of people don't like them but i like the simplicity and it's not so realistic so you use your imagination. the french ootp is my desktop. in general i like the swedish, italian, and japanese covers best.

Yeah, I actually noticed that this one has a sort of typical-lowbudget-paperback style and coloring. I wouldn't want it as my book's cover, but it's interesting to look at because it illustrates sooo much.

yeah seriously. i think the swedes are my fav as far as noisy/cluttered covers go. i wonder if there are posters somewhere? i would get one.

And wow! I really like the Swedish ones! Especially for Book 1&5. I don't think I'd ever seen them before.

That is one craaazy cover. And does that snake have a person's head? Wait a minute, is that Bathilda? ^.^; That is definitely a cool book to have.

I like the German covers, Harry looks more like the one in my mind. And I'm used to them. ^.^;
