I think handwriting is kind of hereditary! I write kind of like my mom. Weird.

The only member to come out of the series alive and without losses is Narcissa.

That is because she is made of win and awesome. And crime pays? Ahaha x).

Her arm curved to the floor, her fingers inches from Ron's. Harry wondered whether they had fallen asleep holding hands.

Omg that part was like *BARRRFFFFF* for me 9_9.

Hahah, "baaaarrf". ;P Well, I think handwriting is "hereditary" in the sense that like... I write sort of similarly to my mom, especially in cursive... but I don't think it's because of genes, I think it's because you sit there and watch your mommy write things from when you're little. Sooo... I think it's farfetched, but maybe possible that Harry would write like her. Maybe because he wrote like Petunia? Who would likely write similarly to Lily. Hmm.

Hmm, interersting Crookshanks idea.

I forgot, how did Regulus die exactly?

..or maybe Snape copied Lily's handwriting, because he's just that obsessed and Harry copied it in turn. *cough* Haha, no, we've seen Snape's, it's described as "spidery" I think. It could be just a coincidence that Harry finds very special, I suppose.

Anyway, Regulus lets himself be taken by the Inferi in the lake :x I don't know if it means he just drowns or becomes one of them though... Creepy death.

I don't think handwriting can be hereditary, although the personality supposedly dictates what it'll turn out to be like. I think I'd be horrified if I got my dad's handwriting. xD

Hermione/Drunk Muggle, OTP. Is there fic yet?
No, but we can rectify that. ;]

The American illustrations are full of lolz! Is there a place where we can see all of them? The UK version doesn't have any... although methinks it'd be a strange diversion from the text.

I'm confused, you've read the whole book or not?

lol, yes, I've read the whole book. I'm doing a slow reread currently where I copy quotes and write a mix of current thoughts and thoughts I had the first time 'round :)

I love that we get illustrations! I always felt sorry for the countries that dont' :P They're printed right alongside the chapter title. So sometimes it can be a tiny bit of a spoiler if you pose to look or think, though she's always careful not to reveal major things, of course. Plus sometimes she illustrates something really important, and sometimes a semi-random thing so you never know if it's a spoiler in relation to the title or not :P Anyway, you can see them all HERE. :)

With the previous "It's no wonder I can't get [my wand] out, Hermione," my mind jumped right to the next quote and dutifully twisted it as well. [Harry] was spread-eagled on the cold black marble floor, his nose inches from..." From yes, you have me on tenterhooks, please continue! And then bath legs... Bitter disappointment.

Hee.

That second quote also made me remember OotP quotes with Harry ending up on all 4s in Snape's office or something along those lines.
