No, see, the reason I really wanted to call someone was so that I can get them to check if the release date was accurate (Soniya's the only one who's ever been quite as squee as me over these things). I only trust something if it's on Mugglenet ;P It's just that it was a bit out of the blue. I knew for sure that nothing had been announced or even hinted at the day before (JKR tends to update her diary about how far along she is with her writing, but there had been no comment even back when the Title was announced

Hmm, I am torn between agreeing that liquid awesome does indeed have bubbles (bubbles!) and saying that it's more like silver-y plasma-y stuff. Maybe I should go with bubbles.

Anyway, here is the HBP announcement, in a greeting card and everything after you figure out how to open the door and play the game. Here's Thursday's announcement under her "News" section: "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will be published on Saturday 21st July 2007 at 00:01 BST in the UK and at 00:01 in the USA. It will also be released at 00:01 BST on Saturday 21st July in other English speaking countries around the world."
