*happy sighs* nevermind, i don't need to cuddle them. they can do it to each other and i am more than happy just watching. i love how they just kept talking and distracting themselves and erik's concern. it's so adorable. it's like they have this giant daunting thing hanging over their heads and they're kinda like hold up, park yourselves in the corner and wait, it's US TIME and you can't take it from us bitch.

Flattery, I love it! *grinning at laptop* They definitely needed this moment. Because in the morning, well, Sebastian Shaw...*ominous soundtrack noises* Telepathic sex is pretty brilliant, I'd think--no limits, only everything you can imagine, and knowing each other so intimately...it might be both awkward that Erik's a non-telepath--he has to trust Charles so very deeply--and also better: two telepaths might overwhelm each other...
In my head-canon, eventually, Erik and Charles realize in every universe that they are better and stronger together, and come back to each other. Because that is a True Thing. Also what fanfic's for. And me using my dissertation materials in really interesting ways! :-p

I absolutely adore the idea of Erik always being there to keep Charles warm when he gets cold - the thought of having someone to curl around in you in a way both necessary and possessive is rather lovely...
And Charles momentary self-loathing made me want to hug him and keep him warm too. It must be bad enough having the memories of those things being done to you, without also having, as Charles now sort of perceives it, the evidence that you are weak now... (although of course he's not!)
Lots of lovely kinks here too - mmmmmmmmmmmmmm...

It is, isn't it? Of course Charles has his blanket, and sheep everywhere'd probably happily sacrifice their wool to make him cozy, but there's something about the protectiveness of Erik being there that's just tugging at all the heartstrings...Erik's already a good Champion, even before they say it aloud. :-)

It was about time they got to the sex, right?...but actually I love the idea that Erik's not asking, that he's fine not asking, as you say: loving someone isn't just about the sex, and the physicality also isn't just about the sex: having that physical contact, the holding, and the casual touches and the intimacy are a huge part of it, and sometimes sex isn't the end result
They've already fallen in love across species (more or less); this is just another facet of who they are together: they have superpowers, they're in love, they might always have to be a little careful with Charles now...and that's just how it is. <3 ( ... )
