[he looks to Enkidu, accepting the water, and cracks a brief smile.]

"Enkidu. It has been some time, friend. How have you fared, of late?"

It has. I'm doing quite well as of late and feeling in good spirits. One of the children that I am staying with in my house has fully recovered physically after regaining a lost limb, so I am pleased to see how things are turning out after the brief scare from those statues that was running amok in this town. And you? I see you are training yourself for a task coming up soon.

"Not as such. I am simply returning to the training that I undertook every day as a member of the Adeptus Astartes. 8 Hours in the practice cages."

[he blinks regarding the lost limb thing.]

"How odd, was it because of the regenerative abilities that the town seems to have, or something else?"

[he sighs, regarding the statues.]

"Yes, those were a trial for some. I ended up in Westport, and found it as empty as a virus-bombed city. It makes me wonder what sort of wars were fought here."

"No. Thank you. I fight my own fights, you know that. But I am not intending to start a fight."

"Eiki. How are you faring this day?"

I am doing well, how are you doing? You seem a little not here.

"I was just contemplating the nature of this town, and the gulfs in between people. And how dangerous they are to any of us ever escaping. The danger of this town is not physical, but moral and spiritual. And yet... we push each other away, afraid to make bonds."

[he looks at Eiki.]

"I... broke my phone today, I had heard some old names from my past and it... ended poorly. An old enemy."

[he looks to the shops.] "I was just intending to buy a new one."

"He corrupted my master. He destroyed everything we had worked so hard to build. And I never even got within blade's length of him. As far as I know, he is still alive, whispering poison into Horus' ear."
